What
better way to kick off May than to be surrounded by over 300 clients
and friends! We want to thank everyone who joined us Saturday to make
our Client Appreciation Event such a huge success, packing not only one,
but two theaters! While we are sure you came because you just can’t
get enough of our incredible team, we know it may also have had
something to do with seeing the Avengers in action, the great snacks and
those awesome green hulk hands. It was a great day, and we thank you
all very much for your continued support.
Did you know that studies suggest the average adult makes thousands of decisions every single day? We make hundreds just in regards to food! While we are glad so many of you made the decision to join us over the weekend, there was even bigger decision made in our province yesterday (Well, perhaps you've heard already). 57.01% of voters turned out to what will be forever seen as one of the most astonishing elections in the history of our province, with the NDP winning it's first ever majority government in Alberta. No matter where you stand on the results, we have new leadership for the first time in 44 years. Personally, I think the first order of business should be a meeting with Mother Nature in regards to this weather. Clearly we need a bill passed to prevent snow in May.
Feel like you've made enough decisions for the week? Well then let lunch or dinner be a no brainer. Today is McHappy Day at McDonald's, and an excellent chance to show support to Canadian families who need it. $1 from every Happy Meal, Big Mac and hot McCafe beverage will go to Ronald McDonald house, which has 14 locations across Canada, and provides support to nearly 20,000 families each year, as well as other children's charities across the country.
Whether you are getting out of the house to catch an action flick, to save your trees from the weight of this snow, or to grab a burger for a cause,we hope you just enjoy getting out for a day in our incredible city.
