A Summer for the Senses

We are already past the half way mark in July, and I sure hope everyone has had the chance to soak up some of this incredible summer. Whether it be beach days during the heat wave, taking in those incredible lightning shows we had, or filling your senses at the Canada Day fireworks and the Street Performers Festival, it’s been a great start.
If you haven’t had the chance to sneak away from your desk or get the family out, not to worry, there are still some incredible happenings this summer in Edmonton. Check out this list of what our city has to offer:
Capital Ex: Opening Parade is July 19th at 11 am and events run July 20-29 (noon-midnight). With amazing character shows for kids, awesome band performances, rides, games, food….and so much more.

Taste of Edmonton: July 19-28 in Sir Winston Churchill Square. Over 40 restaurants participating to bring you food, drinks and entertainment.

Edmonton Indy: July 20-22. Take in this exciting, fast paced event at the City Centre Airport. A wide variety of ticket options available to suit everyone.

Heritage Days: August 4-6 at Hawrelak Park. 62 pavilions representing over 85 cultures. Enjoy food, performances, art, crafts and clothing.

Folk Fest: August 9-12. Take in some incredible music talent in Gallagher Park! Tickets are SOLD OUT, but keep watch for them, it sells out for a reason!!!

The Fringe: August 16-26. Vendors, Food, Artisans, Buskers and the perfect chance to see some creativity as you take in 1 of 1400 theatre productions.
